Case Study Samsung

Challenge

In the US, Android dominates the market at an incredible 62% share. But there are huge concerns around its security. How could Samsung and MobileIron get key IT decision makers in large American corporates to change their mindsets, and reconsider Android for their mobile OS platform?

Strategy

We positioned Samsung and MobileIron as security experts – providing a combined solution that finally answers every security challenge you’ve been facing. First, we built a content hub where we could monitor, nurture and capture leads. Then we engaged the audience through a four-wave email programme, as well as native advertising with content directly rolled out across hundreds of publisher sites, a retargeting banner layer, and  blog content distributed through social media. We also developed an eBook to help people evaluate Android for enterprise and in doing so, put Samsung and MobileIron at the top of their consideration set.

Results

  • 28,000 unique visits over 6 months
  • 269 hot leads for Samsung and MobileIron to follow up on
  • 75% increase in cost efficiency per lead compared to usual paid media
  • A staggering 22,257,656 impressions on our article ‘Unlock Your Business Potential with Mobile – in 3 Easy Steps.’
